Alloy & Steel Wheel Refurbishment
With sandblasting and powder coating, in Kiskunfélegyháza. We restore worn, rusted or faded wheels with a durable, brand-new finish.
What you get from us
Not a repaint — full surface refurbishment
For us, wheel refurbishment is not a simple repaint. First we sandblast the wheels down to bare metal, removing old paint, oxidation and contaminants. Then we apply two layers: a primer coat and a topcoat, followed by curing at 180–200 °C. The trade also calls this process sintering. The result is a durable, UV-resistant finish that better withstands stone chipping, brake dust and weather, and does not flake off.
Before / after sandblasting
The wheel in the photo is shown immediately after sandblasting — cleaned down to bare metal, ready for painting. The colour coat and curing still lie ahead.

Process
How the refurbishment works
Sandblasting
We clean the wheel down to bare metal, removing old paint, lacquer and rust.
Priming
We apply a primer layer that ensures topcoat adhesion and corrosion protection.
Powder coating + curing
We powder coat in the chosen colour, then cure at 180–200 °C for a durable finish.
Handover
We hand the finished wheels back to you ready for collection. Turnaround is typically 1 week; we confirm an exact date with the quote.
Before drop-off
What you need to know before drop-off
- Please bring the wheels without tyres — because of the sandblasting and the 180–200 °C curing, tyres cannot remain fitted.
- We remove the valve and the balancing (lead) weights ourselves — you do not need to worry about them.
Important
Have the TPMS pressure sensors removed from the wheels before drop-off. The 180–200 °C curing destroys the sensor, and replacements are expensive. Sensor removal is your responsibility.
